Isaac J Gardner established and has operated Gardner Insurance Agency, LLC since August 2011. Isaac became a licensed insurance agent to help folks get the insurance coverage they need at the lowest premium. Growing up in a small town just north of Lawrence, Isaac has always been the entrepreneurial type. In fact, he has always been self-employed. With a “business” mindset, Isaac always wanted to be the best at everything he has done. At a young age, (8 years old), Isaac and a close friend of his opened up a lawn mowing business. Total Lawn Care, was established and ran for 6 years. After mowing lawns as a kid, and growing up from a child to an adult, Isaac started working for a painting company. After a couple years of working for a painting contractor, Isaac opened up a Painting Company. Gardner Painting was ran for 3 years. Growing older and having more and more physical issues,(knee surgeries), he decided being in the office was for him. Since 2004, Isaac became a tax preparer professional working for Hume’s Tax Service where he still works at to this day, preparing income tax returns. Being the office manager and working under the owner, Jerrad Humerickhouse, continually growing Hume’s Tax Service is just as important as growing Gardner Insurance Agency, LLC. Gardner Insurance Agency, LLC is also located in the same office as Hume’s Tax Service, which makes this interaction with people help grow each business.
Isaac has lived in Lawrence since 2005. Coming from an athletic family, his father is a retired school teacher and coach of many sports (football, basketball, track, baseball) for over 32 years, his mother, passed away in September of 2013, also was a teacher and coach (of volleyball and track) for over 22 years, his oldest brother Nathan is the 5th all-time leader rusher in the state of KS as a high school running back, and his older brother Aaron was a basketball standout in his hometown. Being the “baby” of the family, let me tell you, those were some deep footsteps to follow. But Isaac enjoyed playing basketball himself, while becoming the all-time leading scorer at his hometown high school.
In his free time, he enjoys playing/watching sports, coaching, (head), his sons baseball and basketball teams (Plowboys), playing fantasy football, playing cards, being with friends and family, and is a diehard KU Fan. March Madness is one of the greatest times of the year.
